Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2, 2026

Summary Your notes, photos, and settings are stored only on your device and are never sent anywhere. We do not collect any personally identifiable information. To improve the app, we send only anonymous usage statistics (such as how often a feature is used).

Information we collect

LockBoard (the "App") does not collect personally identifiable information. There are no accounts and no ads.

To improve the App, we collect only the following anonymous usage statistics:

None of this ever includes the contents of your notes, your photos, your name, or your email address. Device identifiers are transformed irreversibly (hashed) and are never used to identify you or to track you across other companies' services.

Analytics are powered by TelemetryDeck (TelemetryDeck GmbH, Germany), a service designed for privacy-preserving analytics.

If you have opted in to sharing with Apple in iOS settings, Apple may additionally provide the developer with anonymized crash reports and statistics. These contain no personally identifiable information.

Data stored on your device

The following data is stored only on your device to provide the App's features. No third party, including the developer, can access it.

All of this data is deleted when you delete the App. If you want to change a wallpaper that has already been set on your Lock Screen, you can do so at any time in the iOS wallpaper settings.

Integration with the Shortcuts app

The App works with Apple's Shortcuts app to set your wallpaper. The wallpaper image is handed over entirely on-device and never passes through an external server.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will announce it on this page. For significant changes, we will also mention it in the App's update notes.
